REGISTRATION

Students who are registered in undergraduate and graduate design schools in California are eligible to apply for the 3-5 selective slots. These students will be judged on the merits of their letter of intent which addresses the municipal problem they look to design a solution for, their portfolio, CV, & letters of recommendation.

* Each student that submits will need to have a valid passport that does not expire before or during June - July 2010.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS //
ELIGIBILITY

  • Work in all media that has been designed, produced and used while in design school is eligible.
  • You may submit via email with attached pdf's or sent via post.
  • We regret that entries and disks cannot be returned unless student supplies us with a stamped return envelope.

Entries must be accompanied by:

  • A master registration form (you can fill in and print out entry forms HERE)
  • A Letter of Intent (this can be 1 - 3 pages maximum).
  • Student's Resume
  • At least one letter of recommendation
  • A body of work (this could be a pdf attached to an email, a hyperlink to a personal website or could be a physical portfolio mailed in)
  • Payment receipt or offline payment form and check or money order, in U.S. funds. Make checks payable to “Markatos | Moore”.

REQUIREMENTS

  • All submissions must be labeled with entrant’s name, email address, and telephone number.
  • Interactive media entries (computer graphics, games, interfaces, etc.) need to be submitted as a URL if the entry can be viewed on a browser; otherwise must be submitted on DVD or CD.

DEADLINE

  • WE HAVE EXTENDED THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE: All submissions must be received no later than April 16th
